I really like this.

A strange waltz. A mystically strange but comforting dance in an obscure world. You have an extremely intriguing blend of instruments going on here. The weird synths really catch my ear as well as the saxophone. What a very interesting piece. Great job!

DustyBoozer responds:

thanks man, I'm glad you like it!

Pretty cool.

The set fusion here is nicely balanced. I love that organ-like synth that you use, it makes a great divulge from the orchestral elements and fits along perfectly. The vibe of the entire piece I think is flat though. But overall, it's perfect music for something like an RPG. Great job!

UltimaTricksta responds:

The organ-like synth was the last thing to put added on after the rest of the composition was done. Took me ages to find something that belong with the piece.

Thanks a lot for your review, though!

Very nice.

True to the title and perfectly orchestrated. Almost like The Sims with some slight differences. I like the perpetual motion that this piece flows with and the overall soft instrumentation and quirky simplicity. Excellent work!

I like the description.

Clever. Neat melodies. I thought it was cluttered at that middle part. And the instrumentation is a bit strange but it works okay. It goes along great with what the description says. Nice job!

Decibel7 responds:

Could you email me the times it sounded cluttered? And how they felt cluttered to you? Also, any specifics on the instrumentation? I'd like to make it better if I can! And thanks!

Oh.

Wow that's really got that old school videogame battle theme going. Reminds me a lot of Brave Fencer Musashi music and just...RPG battle themes in general. Perfectly crafted and composed. You've got that feel spot-on.

Thanks. I am glad to hear someone understood what I was going for. I really do believe this song turned out perfectly. I am very proud of it.

Cool.

That's pretty cool. Your motives here are fantastic and the melodies all keep together nicely. The softness to this actually works with the atmosphere you've created; it's great as theatric scoring definitely. Hmm...I think I sort of learned a little bit from listening to this too. Wonderful exercise!

Everywhere.

This piece teeters and totters so effortlessly everywhere. Love the 5/4 time and the overall awkward, bouncy nature this song is enveloped with. Brilliant music!

Wow!

Brilliant fusion! Those tempo changes add a wonderful ethnic march feel. The overall structure is just...fantastic. Lovely, lovely music.

Hmm...strange.

What a strange glass girl. Her theme is compelling with its odd use of half-steps and somewhat dissonant chords that come together in a blast of ethereal noise. Excellent piece with a great beat and marvelous synths.

Mmmmm

I do see the swampy circus. It is strangely inviting and is a fascinating sight to behold. This is some great ambience that could be interpreted many different ways, I think. Great job!

Thank you very much for the review ZipZipper :)
Im glad you enjoyed it, and it managed to create such images for you!

Just an awkward clown that showed up late to the clown pile. I love to provide goofy-spook music but I'm open to anyone that challenges my comfort zone. Send me details of your lifestory when you get the chance!
