Excellent descent from super intensity to unsettling anxiety. Sound choices are pro, extremely filmic. I'm wondering...does it really end there? It sounds like at the end it keeps continuing, but cuts off. Well either way, great work!

The image of a child dazed in wonder at the sights of a seemingly gargantuan museum is what comes to mind. The beginning really really caught me. I kind of wish the flow of the start kept continuing throughout the piece, but I can't argue with this being set to something else. Nice work here!

Neat idea for a breakdown. I thought there could be a right-hand part of the piano in the second half of it to keep it a little more progressive. But it's okay as is too. The first thought that comes to mind is the Olympics...or a person running through the finish line of a marathon in slow motion.

thanks allot bro!!! :D

Very nice. I love the ambience of it all. It really describes today, to me. Your introduction of the synth near halfway through was an excellent choice. I think it's a little disconnected on the loop, but its flow is good enough to pass it off. Maybe because the beat was dropped off and it sounded like the song was going to end. Ehhh whatever. Great work.

SamHandwiches responds:

Thanks for your wisdom! I get what you mean, I could cut it again where the beat ends, so it's more loop-like, don't know why I didn't actually. I guess I like endings a lot.

The beat and flow is like hip-hop. It really catches my attention. A nice driving melody that is subtle and soft at the same time. It was a little bit empty to me actually, I thought there could be something harshly clashing with the piano at some points, but that may take away from its more classical persona. So without stepping over into other-genre territory, this is a cool song. NIce work!

pftq responds:

I agree with your points - first time making something of this style and will definitely keep your suggestions in mind, thanks!

There's a great versatility with this music. The beginning really put me off-center with the unusual emphasis on notes. I guess it's actually like that throughout the entire piece. It's a novelty, a mixture of ambient, techno, and some hip-hop flow. There's so many twists in this that makes it captivating throughout the entire seven minutes. Seriously, there wasn't really a break where it got repetitive or boring. An impressive feat for a long song. Overall, an excellent track. Perfection.

RetromanOMG responds:

I'm really loving how people like my longer songs. I'm usually worried that they're too long to hold the listener's attention, but comments like this show me otherwise.

Excellent build-up through the entire piece. Your choice of sounds is great. It really hit me when that transition into the end part began. I kind of wish it ended a bit differently, but you say this is a concept and what a solid concept it is.

ChrisisD responds:

I thank you alot! It's merely a sample of the 3 theme's I want to use. The first (highest) part is for the beginning of the film. Probably going to integrate more synthesizers in that part. The second (middle) part is when the main-character discovers what's actually going on. And the third (lowest) part is the chase. Specially the last transition needs a lot more work. And of course there is no ending yet. It just stops. Thanks for your positivism! Greets, Chris

Sounds like an intro into something spectacular, but it just drops at the end. I, however, really like that; its concise structure. Its deceiving nature. Your sound choice in this is perfect. I don't exactly see the vision you put. I do see a vast cold landscape, but rather an airship army whizzing past overhead as you realize you are traveling to the same location that the army is headed.

ALECXACE responds:

I know the ending was abrupt which s something I really have to work on
but I like your vision better than mine thnx a mil
and glad that you enjoyed it :D

Sounds good to me.

Minimal house? You hit that nail on the head. Perfect, to be quite honest. And the title really frames the song perfectly also. There's a slight hint of retro videogame in this as well, probably due to that 8-bitty synth. Great work!

MakerThe responds:

Thanks man!

Solid!

Classical-with-a-beat music is so cleverly creative and something I personally think is hard to perfect, if you're making up the classical themes yourself. You did an excellent job on that though. It all fits together nicely. Great work!

TheBellmaker responds:

Thanks for listening! This is a style that I've wanted to try, but never worked up the courage to write until now.

Just an awkward clown that showed up late to the clown pile. I love to provide goofy-spook music but I'm open to anyone that challenges my comfort zone. Send me details of your lifestory when you get the chance!
