Nice AS ICE!

Great little tune to depict a battle with an Ice Master; a battle with any kind of boss really. Excellent work!

Mugrunty responds:

Thanks for the review ZipZipper! At least a few people think it sounds neat. I never really thought of it as a "Boss Battle". It's almost like it's too happy?

Neat.

A neat little tune that sounds unique, in a sense. Short, to-the-point and catchy. Great tune! Nice to have a little jam out to...in my head. :l

Mugrunty responds:

Always Appreciate the Reviews...even for the old, short, and weird ones! Thanks ZipZipper! I have way to many "short, to-the-point, and catchy" songs. Most of them I don't put up here as I'm not sure there's a category for them, and people tend to rate them poorly. ;)

Thanks again!

Woah...

How did you get 5/4 to work so perfectly? It's so rhythmic even though it abides to such a strange time signature. Excellent work right here!

Shigimatsu responds:

Thanks! I wrote this as a piano piece first, and it translated pretty well with some break beats behind it :)

Lovely.

You made the 4/4 over 3/4 work perfectly. A very concise and catchy loop. Great job!

Shigimatsu responds:

Thanks a lot! I love polyrhythms :)

Flowing.

This music is so flowing with sharp turns and many ups and downs. It's crisp and the sound of realism is marvelous. Excellent work!

corbetweller responds:

Thank you, kind sir. I'm very happy you enjoyed the piece!

Very unique and interesting.

Definitely true to the title. A little playful and a lot of epic. Seemed like it could have been expanded on more, but sometimes short and sweet pieces have the sense invoked more powerfully than long drawn-out ones. Excellent work!

josielemmings responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! You have a lot of good songs, so a good review means a lot coming from you.

Wow...

Is this really your first attempt? Cause this is really good! Very motivated, strong and balanced.

monkeybars responds:

Yep, first classical piece. I still don't think I can play piano. I'm glad you liked it, I will make more.

Pretty good.

You nailed that ambient drum'n'bass feel. It is a bit dry but overall a piece that holds itself up well and goes along with its title. Great job!

Daxien responds:

FFS!!

You are so right..
That's what I hate about my songs..
the dry-ness.. It always annoy me that my songs are dry..
I really want to learn to make my songs.. Fluid..

Thanks.. For everything you said ^^

True to the title.

This is perfectly formed together, a light introduction to explain the peace of the forest, an upbeat middle to visualize the wickedness of the invasion and a nice ending to show that the power of nature can overcome such obstacles. Brilliant song!

dtrace responds:

Haha I'm glad somebody noticed, what you said was exactly what was in my mind.

Very nice.

I really like this. Has a strange ambience to it that seems sad but also estranged. Great job!

KitXune responds:

Thank you! ^^

Just an awkward clown that showed up late to the clown pile. I love to provide goofy-spook music but I'm open to anyone that challenges my comfort zone. Send me details of your lifestory when you get the chance!
