I really like it.

Though I do understand why they wouldn't think it's Steampunk sounding. It sounds very retro, spacey and carefree instead of having hard and dark noises, though the beat does have that Steampunk effect. This music definitely reminds me of Super Monkey Ball 2 music, and I loved the soundtrack of that game. It's a great piece with solid structure and a pleasant, wispy ambiance. Excellent work!

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

I haven't the slightest clue about the whole history behind Steampunk other than something about the Victorian era and that stuff is steam powered
I had no idea it was supposed to have hard or dark noises

Thanks though I'm glad you enjoyed it
also lmao obligatory video game relation on the first review

Stunning.

Those vocals are very crisp sounding and are manipulated extremely well. They go along with the heavy instrumentals perfectly. Excellent song.

Thank you for the review, I am really glad you like it :)

Beautiful.

I think I'd love to abide by the majesty of His Word. This heavenly hymn makes me a believer. Lovely music.

Bezo responds:

He don't want you to believe. He wants you to think.

Interesting.

Weird, ambient, underground sounding. It's very catchy to me. The sounds being produced here are very nice to listen to. The dissonance at the end didn't seem quite fitting to me, but it's pretty cool. Great work!

AliceMako responds:

Thanks it was a lot of work, inspiration was a little overwhelming and called for those feelings to translate into a bit of audio confusion :3

Wow...

The mellow atmosphere to this gives me the chills. All parts fit together perfectly...it flows forward and is ethereal. Excellent work!

WAR-BASTARD responds:

Thank you! I'd say "ethereal" is just what I was going for. :D

Wonderful.

I really love the way this is thought-out. I think its length gives it a great character instead of being drawn out endlessly. It teeters back and forth nicely and is interesting to listen to. Great work! You should continue on with making the other etudes as well.

Rampant responds:

Thank you!
Recently I started writing in more of a romantic style - I felt that romanticism allowed me much greater freedom as a composer to write emotionally, rather than adhering to the strict rules of classical style.

I'm glad you like it - I intended the teetering to represent the struggles we all face in life. Without being too drawn out, of course!

AAAAHHHH!!!!

I got a chill when the factory inspection part kicked in! This is a great remix of sorts. The sound is very full and similar to the game's while also a tad different. Great job!

Exquisite.

I simply adore this adorable music. It's so bouncy and stylish and the reverb, I think, is perfect. It makes me imagine a bunch of children playing tag in the courtyard of a grand castle as their parents sit on the balconies having a lovely brunch together and enjoying the light mid-afternoon air. All the instruments fit so well together. The imposing of the piano is especially nice, to me. What blissful music...it's perfect.

blackattackbitch responds:

That's the exact feel I was trying to achieve! Glad you liked it!

L0L.

I definitely see the frolicking llamas <3 This is a great little tune! It's catchy and fun.

Twisty.

At first, there were moments where I couldn't tell what time signature the piece was in, which made me interested. I think that if there was some more reverb added to some parts then the piece would sound fuller, or perhaps doubling some melodies with different instruments. But I like this. It's weird and obscure, a type of music I enjoy a lot.

Horsenwelles responds:

7/4 >>> 3/4

and yeah, i'll add some instruments to the more empty parts that aren't meant to be empty. as i mentioned, there are points that are meant to be empty to contrast to the major crescendos in the song, adding to their effect.

Just an awkward clown that showed up late to the clown pile. I love to provide goofy-spook music but I'm open to anyone that challenges my comfort zone. Send me details of your lifestory when you get the chance!
